This is a wonderful independent cafe. It's really spacious with various seating configurations from booths to smaller tables. The food menu is all cooked to perfection from the traditional English breakfast to some great twists on other classics.. The drinks menu has some great alternatives to coffee. The only annoying thing is the students who go in and sit there for hours doing work without buying anything! Or buying a coffee and sitting there for hours. It's so rude and I feel for the staff who have to try and free up tables while these selfish people just want to use the free Wi-Fi. The rent on this place must be sky high yet these students are just so self centred they don't care. There is a free library a 2 minute walk away kids go and sit there!

Great service this morning from Brett, I was a bit ahead of opening time but they kindly let me in to have great coffee and a whopping portion of scrambled eggs on sourdough! Thank you!!

This is my new favourite venue in Birmingham. I came here several times over the course of a week. I came alone and with a group - and felt comfortable and welcome on each occasion. The food and coffee are very good. I particularly enjoyed the Arabian eggs. The coffee is Artisan quality - so it's not as bitter as the coffee served at the big chains. Service was professional but friendly. Special shout out to Manon and Craig! I'll be returning here again and again.

I've been here a couple of times now. The welcome host/waitress was friendly and helpful. We sat upstairs, where it was quieter. We ordered via the QR code. We didn't have to wait long. Food was good and the coffee was spot on. Will definitely be back.

Lovely coffee shop, which I’ve made it part of my Saturday routine. Honestly the service and care; the staff take to make you feel comfortable is excellent. If your are in or around Birmingham, make sure to check this one out. You won’t be disappointed. My go to drink is a Hot matcha with vanilla syrup, and I haven’t had a better one yet. Also I want to give a shout out to Brett. He will make he’ll make sure your looked after and you start your morning the right way. It’s always good to have a smile and friendly face that greets you on arrival. Well done Yorks.

My friend and me visited on the 30th of December so it was busy which was expected. There was a queue to get seated, we waited around 10 minutes to get a table. Before getting a table a staff member told us the waiting time for the food was up 45 minutes which some people may not like but for me that's acceptable as long as I am made aware in advance. We ordered coffee and brunch through the QR code (I had to use my friend's hotspot as I didn't get Internet inside the building - thanks EE lol). The coffee was brought swiftly, my food arrived after 15 min, while my friend waited maybe 35-40 min for her food which was within the promised time frame. The coffee was delicious and my toast with eggs and avocado was good, even though the toast was slightly burned. Overall, the staff were nice and patient in that busy time. The cafe was clean with plenty of seating. Most likely will visit again :)
